Gage is already 15 months old!

Wow! I cannot believe that Gage is 15 months old already. It is so amazing how time flies so fast. We just had his doctor’s visit this afternoon and man! He is 27 lbs and 32 inches long, 10 more inches and  he will be accepted in disneyland rides(Can’t wait).

At 15 months he can:

* Understand and speak a little bit of spanish. He actually utter more spanish words that english.

* He likes to read everyday. Sometimes I am so busy that he entaintained himself by reading alone, of course with all those baby words.. 100_2918
So Funny

* He likes people. Everytime we’re out of the house, he always smiles at people.

* He walk so fast and ran away..Kakatakot talaga!

* He likes music and dances everytime he hears music.

That’s all I could think for now as I feel a little bit upset today…

I really had a bad day today. I didn’t have to go to work since it’s Nevada Day. My husband and I went out all morning and we went to the mall yet I felt a little bit depressed all day. And when I picked up Gage, the daughter of his babysitter said that Gage put her cellphone in the toilet and is not working anymore. She said it’s ok but I guess in my mind I am obliged to pay for it. She has this pink Razr Motorola. So I inquired about it and gosh, it’s $250  dollars. I can get it cheaper or free if I am opening an account which wouldn’t be the case because she already have an account and she is still under contract. I can’t open a new account for myself too since I am also under contract so my only option is to give my cellphone to her or give her $250 certificate so she can get a new phone. It really sucks! Though I really like my babysitter  but when things like this happens, it really made me feel down. It’s even getting more expensive than putting Gage in a regular daycare. I have to feel better since tomorrow is Gage sitter’s birthday and we are going to give her a surprise party.

Anyway, have a good day, everyone!

Changing Job..

Changing job can be really stressful. Yes, I still work in the school district but now I am doing Voyager/Passport (Interventionist). It is a daily 30 minute intervention program that enables struggling readers to read at their  grade level.( strategic instruction supports growth in advance word study, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and high-stakes test preparation).

When I started the job a week ago was really easy since they just let me sub in a 2nd grade class for 2 days for the teacher was not there but when Tuesday came? It was a little bit of a nightmare. Why? The classroom was not set-up yet and it means I only have 4 days to do it with the fact that I will have my training for the whole week. I was scared to death..I never work in a reading program before. Everything is scripted yet I feel really nervous after telling me that they are going to observe the class for the whole week. Nakakatakot talaga…I will have 8 classes a day, 30 minutes per session, from k3 to k5…Lucky me, they sent this filipina lady to help me out. She is really nice. She did all the bulletin board and photocopying job. I really like her. We became friends…I still miss my friends in lake ofcourse, especially Nora…

Anyway, Wish me luck, guys…Have a good weekend everybody!
